You won't believe it...I swear I see everything pink..no plum I mean. I just cannot wait till I get my hands on my baby....However sold out you may be...one day you shall belong to me...I'm possessive and I mean it. I mean, a bag is a basic human right, right? And besides Juicy Couture was made for girls like me, that love color, that want the look of OMG I LOVE your bag, or just girls that swing that tiny bitsy TO DIE for bag.....(swwwooooonnnn)....sadly sold out...sadly....sadly...

Call me crazy, call me dramatic. I don't care for our love is eternal....or at least it will last a while :P No tell me; Aint it just perfect for the Holidays? Or forever? :P

Killer shoes

You know those shoes you all must own, that are so nice...They make your legs look longer and leaner. You look tall erect and yes the make you seem 150% sexier than in your wildest dreams? BUT....

The only problem with your ow so nice shoes is that they KILL your feet even if they are your size, expensive as hell and treated to sooth the pain? Oh yes, I bet we all have them hidden in our closet waiting for the opportunity to kill our feet, right? I know I have them....and that's why my sister and I call them the Killer Shoes.

Killer Shoes give a killer view while they slowly stop the blood flow to your toes or leave you with blisters. But you never give up, maybe it stretches right? Maybe if you wear them for only 1 hour they won't kill right? Maybe if you don't walk or dance or breathe might work, right? No it does NOT :(  believe me...they will kill, they are serial killers. But I must still say...each and every time I spot a Killer Shoe I want them, I forget all the stated above...poor foolish me...

I mean take a look at these beauties....don't they look exotic and Amazonian and sexy and all that I want to think they will make me? :P

I mean I have not tried these...but I seriously doubt that after 4 hours I will still be in heaven, but you never know Aldo might surprise you and me...we never know...so head quick...they also have SALE...I know it's the Holidays rush, but now tell me. Asos has SALE!

Yes, YEs! The awesome place called Asos has SALE...like you can totally hit the jackpot for cute outfits or separates at the awesome Asos. I sooooo want to order just a couple of things but I'm thinking of hitting the shops tomorrow so....nope we must resist urge to over-purchase :P

But let's look at it from the bright side. The cute stuff teaches us one thing, even if they remain online and not in our closets, how to look totally FAB even when it's cold....So go ahead...either shop or learn a bit...Totally ironic was the fact that today I had to analyze the growth and sales of online shopping the last couple of years...NOT good :P

Call me crazy or whatever....but I am sooooooooooo in love with this trend.

I am soooo hoping it's not a trend :P Why? Well yesterday I was doing laundry and when I went throught the closet I realized something, I've got like 5 of these type of blouses in assorted colors and I seem to keep on gravitating towards them....I even have one blouse like that at home in Curacao...which...well truthfully and sadly does not belong to me anymore...:( well I'll have to replace it right? :P

And yes, I do own a dress-like blouse like Kourtney Kardashian is wearing here...(which is soooo cute) besides I've got nothing in black so maybe...NO! I'm not getting another one...I must resist...

For you that cannot resist or do not own one yet...I totally approve the purchase of one of these blouses...'cause my theory is;

- It's winter

- You can pair it with ANYthing

- They suit many body types...(just belt it for better definition of the waist!)

I am not Mexican, I'm not even a latina but all those things make me think of my home, which isn't that crappy student's 'apartment' (LOL) I rent no no no no....

My home is my dushi Curacao, I know you've googled it by now and you must be thinking, it' soooooo far from Mexico!!!! And I must admit, you are totally right, for Curacao is closer to Venezuela. However, as a child I use to sneak around to watch Mexican Telenovelas, man I'm an addict, let's not go there...otherwise I'll never get to the subject :P

It's still winter however it's a quite bright and sunny day today...my room is semi filled with light....which makes me think of spring, when finally I get to chuck my thick coat...(not really) but one can dream right! And boy oh boy will it be fun; some designers feel the Frida Kahlo look. So Mexican but stylish and trendy Mexicana!

DIY fur boots

I know I should not follow all trends and its December...mother of all months to derange your budget like crazy :P AND my Birthday...gifts are welcome LOL...back to the the point!

As I've said before I'm a really girly girly girl. Ribbons, pink, fluffy puffy yup! That's me....And I've been dying for new shoes...(I'm not a shoe addict!) I want a cute little boot with those furry...uh..fur on it like this one from Rocket Dog;

Aint it cute????? Well let's all stop drooling 'cause I found the perfect solution. I bet you have a classic ankle boot left over from last year or the year before right? I know I do! So what do we do to make it new? I'll tell you, we go to Cafe Moda and make yourself happy in the accesoires section. These babies can make any outdated boots look like this season in a blink, and besides its soooo inexpensive! Might as well buy all colors, if only they were available!

Vegas wantbook

Believe it or not, my latest ACTUAL gift from Vegas, was a pair of sand colored UGG's, which in my view was a way of saying; Here my dear, take the sand from Las Vegas to keep your feet warm!

However my hubby was not the only one in Vegas, no I haven't gone anywhere, I've been in Tilburg doing my best in Marketing.....not a bore but soooo much to do and so much alike!

So my escape happened in a little shop called Kruidvat! (not really so small, each city in this country must have at least 3 of them, I think...LOL) They carry this line called Catrice, which has its limited edition collection called 'Welcome to Las Vegas'. And yes I love to play with make up and no I did not go overboard (totally than :P), however I was clearly inspired!

 Like it don't ya? I know, J'adore! Personally I feel it should not only be limited to make up, but expanded into clothing also....:P So this is my current wishlist based on the looks in this clip! Give me shiney notice me clothing! Give me love, money and Jazzzzzzz....owke just scroll down....

I've always had a love for hats, they frame my cute apple-like face. And yes, they cover for bad hair days, but are not suitable for the winds of Rotterdam, and YES, people stare when you have one on. Especially if its a men's lookalike hat that's on your head LOL (yes, I'll try not playing with your mind with my vocabulary).

Mon dieu, I'll start off by saying I'm sooo sorry for my absence...:( I allowed the university to take over my life. She makes make-up tutorials and posts these on internet. You'll say well everyone does that, well yes and NO. I do not know any other girl that makes this so easy. Really! I swear! Well owke, I'll grand you this; She speaks Spanish, but even if you mute her you can perfectly well understand and apply the make up like Yuhklop tells you too! If not, complaints are on my behalf ;)

The Red shoes by me

Once upon a time there was a young girl cruising through Schiphol Inernational Airport, after haven waved her cousin away. There she happened to catch a glimpse of a lady in black wearing some wonderful red shoes. For the young girl wasn't carrying a camera with her, the story goes on like this....

As a little girl I was not fixated on clothes and shoes, rather on books. One of my favorites was 'The Red Shoes' by Hans Christian Andersen. I have read the whole collection of fairy tales and stories. To this day this is one of them that has stuck with me, and I must confess; I think this is why I love red shoes. So after reaching home I decided to find me some identical pairs of such shoes and man this wasn't hard at all (snowballing effect, mind you...) Contemplate below what I had missed to catch on picture at the airport!

Balenciaga, I must say, you bring back my childhood. I can totally imagine why this would be the damnation of many of us (or our pockets) and surely dancing could be hurtful in these babies, more reason to compare with the original red shoes of Andersen. And I must admit, I just couldn't stop staring. Had to get into the elevator...what did I do? Well hold the door and stare....not polite I know but still had like HAD to do it....now imagine they make you take off these babies at the gate, LOL :P

So babes, as the saying goes in Spanish; Para ser bellas hay que ver estrellas! And like I say, planetas, cometas y hasta el universo entero!

What friends say

You may have noticed some sort of abandoning of the blog....well NOT happening. I just had to catch a flight and become the humble girl in the big city again. Back at home or the place I'm supposed to be living in I have reconnected with the hectic life typical of a big city...rush rush rush..no time no time...and rush some more...

While waiting my turn and rushing I had the most stupid thing happen to me. It might even be e revelation. My cousin Sophia casually but uber enthusiastically happens to mention she got Minnetonka's for like the price of a dime. me reply, 'What are Minnetonka's????' OMG!!! NO! I, the one with the blog did not know what MINNETONKA's are. I bet even you know so if you're in Utrecht move that ass to the city...don't know where, don't know how....just make it happen and grab yourself a pair. I recently got Ugg's and am in nooooo position whatsoever of shopping so go ahead and drool with me;

Now don't go crying if you're in the USA or anywhere but Utrecht. 'Cause I have wonderful friends. So I just landed and I had but HAD to go visit the shops...And who did I find? Girl Emery, says she was needing me. Boy you'll be happy she found me! She needed to know where to find this fabulous lipcolor I was wearing a few months ago, said she needed it Rihanna-red. Well the answer was; Sephora, where they have these wonderful lip stains that won't budge not even for the rain or the sun. So it's weatherproof and season-less.

So there you have it, round up of this week. Either you grab those Minnetonka's in Utrecht or you visit Sephora and you grab yourself a cream lip stain!

Comfy me

Sometimes we need comfort in life. For example when we need to travel. Or move or go get groceries or just lounge about at home. For these and all the occasions one desires comfort I have found these images. Contemplate comfortable simplicity.

Yes I like the Twilight saga, but me my friends is a die hard team Jacob kinda girl. I like real guys that have a tan and some muscles. No blood for me! But the title here is referring to the Edward in Tim Burton's epic Edward the Scissorhands. I remember in my childhood I used to watch this movie over and over again on TV. I saw it yesterday and am still enchanted by it. For the younger of my blog lovers see below.

It's a rather sad movie but a true love story. And the girly girl in me LOVES it! I even like the character so much I went to find Edward inspired pieces for my fall wardrobe. I hate having it cold so yes leather shall be integrated. Contemplate below the finds of this chick.

Yes that was the request of those below. Still, you'd say, why put them on your blog. It's still viral and people (even strangers) will see them. Well in my defense, I like the pic and those on it and I don't pretend to be the new Picasso of this century but I really like the pic. Sepia is a  great setting and so is the excruciating sun of Curacao!

Lica & Yuca

On the left we have Licaya, which is the rebel of the pair. In reality she has black hair with pinkish details on the bottom and a couple of interesting tats. Yes that is not the only one she's got....Ask her, if you ever see her! But hey, girl's got awesome style. I consider Licaya to be one of those girls who can throw on a sheet and head out and look awesomelly great. Just plain AWESOME. However she won't ever do that cuz Licaya's got her thing going on. Won't ever wear a girly girl glam ensemble like me, 'cause she does rebel chic. And I'm not talking some shitty mesh  leggings. I'm talking all black nice outfit with a fun but edgy twist. Yes she's edgy, eccentric chic....If you ever land in Punda and you need to know where to go for awesome pieces of clothing or awesome ANYthing...hit her up, she has a build in compass of where to find nice little edgy stuff. It doesn't matter the occasion. She is the one saying why flat ironed hair is not necessary and why bold and beautiful make up is a must. But I'm not talking GAGA here... 

And on the right we got Miss Marugia aka Yuca...as Licaya might call her. She is all things classy and sassy. In the years of knowing Yuca I've seen why women musn't complain of age. As you might note she is not my age nor Licaya's age, but man can she make you forget time exists. 'Cause Yuca is just that, timeless. Every and anything she touches is that timeless. She evokes class which is why I like her style. No dissing Lica here, but Yuca is a more Vany2ah person...boy does this sound funny :P Yuca has exceptional simply but classy taste. 

And how come life has thrown these two together, well that's a great story in need of another picture...saved for later. Gotta run dolls!

I'm falling

Yes I admit it...I Vany2ah am falling...not in love 'cause I already am (blushhhhh) but I'm talking 'bout Fall. We are sure not expecting it. But while on twitter it has dawn on me. Summer is ending, so is my vacation,, and Fall is like behind the courtain waiting to haunt me with the rain and the cold. I hate it! And my hands are always the ones that suffer the most..so I'm always wearing gloves, early on till late winter-almost spring-ish. Therefore I must get me more black gloves right? No, not nessecary however, look at these babies!

These are 3.1 Phillip Lim studded leather gloves worth $395 waaaaayyy above the acceptable budget but soooo cute! I'm in no way crafty so no DIY for this one, don't want to end up looking like a freak...:P

So Imma scourge through any resource known to men in order to find me some affordable options this Fall and since I'll have to take these gorgeous babies off I recommend this manicure trend for fall. Try it with dark colors such as navy, dark purple or blood intens red. I'm no fan of the black but one never knows!

Insanity in women part 2

I am not going to tell you why men think women are insane. I'm not a psychology student. Me, I'm from the Marketing Management department, we mean business. And I seriously will devote a post once again to insaneness (nice nick :P) of how obsessive women can become for ONE item ONE and only! 

A freaking pair of shoes.

Are you still with me? Well, why is it insane this time?

1. I already own a pair of brown cowboy-ish shoes

2. It's summer, I'm on an island, NOBODY wears boots

3. And well my dear; THE PRICE TAG IS INSANE!!!!

Conclusion. This is total insanity.......However....well please have a look.

These are Barbara Bui. Haven't heard of her but, it's priced at a whopping 230 euros a pair. But.....Aren't they cute? Like cuter than those toddlers who run around screaming and spilling stuff on your shoes?  Like shouldn't all your boots be embellished like this one? Like shouldn't I be entitled to have my queenly little chocolate colored (read: NOT BROWN) boots? Yes right. 

Plus it's raining in the Netherlands. Fall will soon be here. Besides I am sooo short that I MUST have these babies to amp up my altitude :P and my ego! Like I would be the girl with the nice chocolate embellished boots LOL....Oh my I am resembling Becky Bloomwood, the Shopaholic herself (giggles) good read though!

I'm into you

Don't get me wrong, I know I've got some obsessions with making posts looking like song reviews :P (Kiss me) but this is no tribute to JLo. I will accept she is beautiful, YES, some say she has style, not my type but NO HATE! :P I'm just more of a Britney type. And it sure doesn't help that she is crawling around with the hot, papasito, William Levy (telenovela addict speaking). I just can't stop watching the damn vid, the beat is catchy, you see...

And while watching I spotted this look! Maybe you say not worth the post, 'cause yeah everyone saw it already. But she channeled the aztec trend just fine without the use of color which is so crucial to this trend. Those who live in the region know that stuff originated from the area of Peru and all the aztec region is typified by bright strokes of color and ancient patterns. 

Still this look for me is an eyecatcher!

So yes, Aztec tribal look of JLo, I'm into you! Ya heard?

Vareshka is my dear sister....my only loving sister...hardworking asskicking sister (in a good way though). So Vary, as we call her, is a grown woman  but not one of those boring soccermoms, noh our Vareshka is stylish. Ask anyone who knows us. As a former model she is stil skinny, with baby and all, and no we don't hate her! She, well she is our hero our stylish bigger sister! But hey I'm heavier so no raiding her closet, anymore! :P

As any working chick knows one needs to worry about their presentation. No marketeer or lawyer or whoever will take you seriously if you do not look the part. And great first impressions are a better set of assets than a million great efforts to reconcile with others memories.

I am in no way saying, that being smart isn't better, I just like to look the part. I dream of being a savvy and cutely dressed Marketing Manager. Or the best PR girl you can think of, that always has her stuff covered.  Oh my I'm stealing Vareshka's thunder :P whoops...

Well the deal is, I saw this look book and even though she has her act together, some tips never fail! So Var jump on my train!

As all girly girl J'adore PINK....not the Victoria's Secret brand only but all things pink. I'm past my obession but Jason Wu has revived it all up! 

I simply declare this day...

The day to remember and love your inner PINK fever. I you were the girl in pink, or the one with the pink room...celebrate it! There is no shame in that. Plus you don't have to go all overboard, that would be fashion suicide :P

Happy Weekend

I'm a girl with an olive complexion that has a bit of yellow-ish in it. So coral suits me perfectly. Besides I was born on an island, which makes me, (not all islanders) crave mango like colors! If you see one of the famous sightings of my dushi Curacao you'll agree with me.

Nuff said huh? Aint it pretty? So all these glorious buildings make me want to wear something BOLD and beautiful! And what is that you say? The following will shed light on your understanding.

Actually this ensemble could be a bit too colorful for me but all apart I like all these pieces. And it seems effortless and breezy and ok...it says chic chick on the rooooolll...add some heels and we can go dance salsa! Or add flats and we can match the buildings in the city.
