Wear them short

For those in the Netherlands bathing in that heat, or for those on the sunny island of Curacao there are two options;

Not go out and stay hydrated, es decir, never leave the shower!

Or you can grab you're pair of shorts and head out in style!

Now don't go tell me you haven't gotten at least one pair...'cause than well make yourself one! (grab an old pair of jeans, cut them, shred them, destroy them, bleach them et volia! but Hey! that would be a DIY post, right? giggles....As a guideline use the pic at left ;)

prepared for my sunny summer vacay so Imma grab my 1,000 pair of shorts and wear them like this!

As you can see, this Japanese girls sure do know

how to rock their assets in those cute little shorts! Note that none of them has that slouchy beach look that says; I was lazy dressing up...:P even if I sometimes do have that...

Mom knows best?

So...according to my mom, she is a lovely, shy, petite woman from an island named Bonaire, there are a few rules of style (paso ow wee...you get my mom talking fashion...:P)...uh yes...there are a few rules of style one DOES NOT forget like ever!...Maybe you might know a few of them...

1. There are, clothes to wear at home, clothes for everyday wear AND there are clothes for going out....and those don't mix nor get used for a occasion not as described above. So don't even ask!

2. Purple and yellow don't go, so does pink and red and all those crazy color schemes.

3. If you wanna be a lady, be a lady all over...

Now you will say, my mom doesn't know a bit of style however I was raised this way....which explains my 'style' :P

Still those were other times and now chick mix it ALL...for example...the summer staple CORAL and lace. Personally I love both but coral is so poppy and it soo complements my skin color so I gravitate towards this coral even for lipcolor...Happy me has a pic for your judgement. Check it out;

Insanity in women...

I, Vany2ah, have seen the trend come....hit the peak become a huuugggeeee rage...from seeing them everywhere...magazines, stores, celebrities..you name it they've had it.....I even think it has started to fade....I'm talking of clogs or so-called mules..

According to wikipedia these shoes where used in the past by workers as protection for the feet:P They were mostly made out of wood and were associated with the Netherlands and Belgium. People I'm talking KLOMPEN...yes these were the forefathers of my beloved piece of artwork today!

As some of you might know, and most of you don't I sworn to never ever give in to this trend no matter how powerful or sexy, I have sworn to it. But today I must announce that I have found the most awesome clog ever! An open-toed clog...that went from 21, to 9 to 7 yes SEVEN euro's a pair...I am rather happy to find cheap finds but furthermore I was instantly sold and had to have these damn shoes....see below for yourselves the reason why...

I have this blog for about 2 years, however I have never ever written a single word on it...although I always intended to use this as my gateway for expressing my love for words and clothes.....such sadness....:P

However today is the day of change! The day I, Vany2ah decides to enter the world or the online version of it....
